What Laetitia Paris and I have in common is our Passion for Nature - and while Laetitia expresses herself by means of Photography - especially on her Blog PhotoZcool - , I do so via Digital Art, part of which I integrate into my blogs.

As anything of quality, this demands constant learning, experimenting, patience and time. There is never a standstill; new features, plugins and sensational improvements chase each other leaving the digital artist breathless but completely hooked and eager to keep improving… while continuously attempting to reach that inner Vision to be expressed.

Red Hot Lava for “Zoom Terre”

Today, I was inspired by the idea of volcanoes and red hot lava… and I finally did something that was on my heart for a while, but I wasn’t ready as I just started learning a new 3D program. Now I combined my first basic knowledge with a creative application for Zoom Terre, Laetitia Paris‘ highly interesting and informative Blog about the Auvergne in France.

Laetitia Paris is a very compassionate observer of little things, things many people don’t even notice - which she eternalizes with her photos and great original articles - I call it “Le Monde de Laetitia Paris” (The World of Laetitia Paris). No wonder her French blog attracts many people from her area and beyond… and it is definitively a red hot attraction for the Auvergnois to advertise and increase their customer bases - if not here, where then?!

ATTENTION: Zoom Terre Volcano has become active today - another explosive YORGOO Press Blog tuned by Semiomantics - what else!

Happy Photo-Hunting and Good Luck!

Affordable Art News

Writing, playing music or painting are ways in which artists express themselves - the first objective is not to sell. At least, that’s my experience and we say that artists lose their soul when making money out of their talent becomes their prime motive and sole driving factor. We can actually follow this tragic loss when following the artistic evolution of quite some famous artists who ended up duplicating themselves forever to please … as that’s what was selling and what their greedy marketers ordered.

The good news is that due to the Internet democratisizing the playground which, as a consequence, allows everybody to grab top rankings on Google, a shift will be taking place here as well - meaning in favor of the independent artist and his or her chances to get directly exposed to bigger audiences - lovers of Fine Art and Art Collectors - without having to sign exclusive third-party contracts and ending up with prices hardly anyone can afford, especially not now. In that sense, we should possibly welcome these developments as a form of getting back to ‘normal’. In my view, we’ve come to the end of the growth economy; it will never be ‘resurrected’ again. We haven’t got much of a choice: either we find alternatives - or we kill the planet.

Meanwhile we have to live with the fact that - unless you are an Artist yourself -, Art is not ‘necessary’… it’s not as essential or important as food, petrol and pampers.

Tough times - no Art?

Always time for a “Spontaneous Sketch”. . .

"Flat Markets" - Spontaneous Sketches by Bianca Gubalke (17)

Expensive Art

A friend of mine in Germany just closed his Art Gallery. His passion was to discover and promote young and promising talents - but while the art afficinados still like to come to the Vernissage and enjoy the glam that goes with it, they don’t buy.

And it’s not only at this comparatively humble level financially speaking; the economic downturn has also hit the high-end art market. Just to quote a major player: Sotheby’s posted a 71% drop in auction sales in the past quarter. According to certain Art experts “… demand is rare, or in the best case, sparse for expensive art.”

A private Art Dealer and appraiser quoted in the Mail&Guardian formulated it as follows: “I don’t think it’s that people are saying, ‘I can’t spend a million dollars so I’ll go out and spend $500 000. Some of them are not buying at all but when they are buying, they are buying carefully.”

So while artists are increasingly integrating the Internet to promote themselves - more or less successfully -, others still hang in there and try it the old way … sort of Survival Art.

New York’s Affordable Art Fair

Legendary Kasper Koenig said it aptly years ago:

“Americans are always very object- and goal-oriented, even when they’re dealing with complex subjects, such as the apparent paradox between artistic, poetic, and utopian goals and their concrete realization.”

Right now they are going through New York’s “Affordable Art Fair” in Manhattan with 64 galleries participating; less than last year. The fair opened on Thursday and will end today, Sunday.

Of course, the “Affordable Art” Fair aims at attracting new Art Buyers with prices for Artwork ranging from $75 to $10 000… but most of it priced around $5 000 or less.

Given the current economic downturn everybody is nervous as… seeing how demand in the high-end market crumbles…, the question is: how will this affect the Art sales ?

Survival Art per Internet

This remains to be seen, however… Artists will continue creating… and while some may continue clinging to sellers, it may be time to start buidling their own presence and authority online.

YORGOO Media powered by Semiomantics is definitely the best place to start.

BuddyPress powers YORGOO Blaster

Vouliagmeni, May 10, 2009 by Yorgo Nestoridis

BuddyPress new perspectives with YORGOO Blaster

YN - YORGOO Blaster, the most efficient low cost Search Engine Marketing system has been hooked to BuddyPress in the YORGOO Media Framework. First admin tests are on the way and here is an invitation for all users to set up and to test YORGOO Blasters on YORGOO Media. The fact to combine YORGOO Blaster with BuddyPress opens new perspectives, namely because of the way we handle syndicated authors: check out the fast growing members list which gives an indication about the lead generation potential of YORGOO Media. But there is more, much more.

YORGOO Media, BuddyPress and YORGOO Blaster a FIRST

For the first time we have realized an application which combines high speed lead generation with high tocuh ads delivery. While in the past, lead generation was separated from product marketing, YORGOO Media sets a new milestone in online marketing and business development. Our numbers prove it and we will report about the progress over the next few days.

Work from Home good News

Home business developers and people working from home: this is the best news we could ever release: YORGOO Media is the perfect combination of Social Networking, Social Network Marketing and Product and Business Opportunity Marketing ever: the performance is unique and the cost just about peanuts. Working from Home often means mobilizing huge means to outsource marketing in order to reach significant results: this is over with YORGOO Media. YORGOO media can be run as a one-man show or as a network; imagine a Networking Team in MLM Business using YORGO Media to generate leads, to promote products or services and opportunities and to socialize in a relaxed atmosphere where pros and consumers meet communicating about topics of common private and professional interest!

YORGOO Media BuddyPress outlook

We are not yet sure about the future of YORGOO media; originally we have set it up to test a new Social Media Marketing concept, combined with the benefits of Semiomantics Search Engine Marketing. The efforts of our 10 beta testers deserve respect and recognition. Maybe we will just create a closed small community of users letting them continue to use the system also in the future?

The ultimate benefits of YORGOO Media

YORGOO Media, as it is set up at present, replaces for the user YORGOO Blaster and all related tasks as unlimited numbers of blogs can be created on a mouse-click; it also replaces the need for an authority site as we have loaded multiple authority site scripts, namely the original script from YORGOO Publishing; it furthermore replaces the need for an Authors site as we have loaded the original Yorgo Private theme as featured on BiancaGubalke.com, and again, users can set up as many of these sites as they want.

There is more: YORGOO Media is a hosted and managed solution: no need for a hosting account, no problems with cpanel and FTP, no need to edit HTML or php, no need to sort out technical problems, it’s all included.

The best of all: YORGOO Media in it’s present configuration is the first and only WPMU Social Network that is run as areal members program in contrast to all the owner’s programs: all users enjoy the same privileges as admin in as much as performance and monetization related features are concerned.

YORGOO Media is an ideal network according to YORGOO’s sharing philosophy! However, there are limits and these limits are amongst others of financial nature: we expect exploding hosting cost with increasing active user accounts and the freedom to create unlimited numbers of sites, all equipped with the ultiate Semiomantics tools and integrated in the social network powered by BuddyPress. We are trying to evaluate the impact and to compile some numbers to evaluate the future we can possibly reserve for YORGOO Media.

YORGOO Media Themes

Here are a few examples of YORGOO Media themes(click a picture and navigate on the overlay:

The YORGOO Press Theme is not yet available, but be sure: we will get there. Also we will add our best themes and scripts ever produced, such as the dublicator script, the autiontalklive script and the yorgonestoridis script, which are all built on Semiomantics and have outstanding results on Google.

Next Step

Set up a few blasters and test the themes; we will monitor closely the behavior of the site and report back to you. the test phase is extended for another week, so the beta users have time to test grab as many benefits as possible. We are still struggling with some technical issues and the ride will not yet be as smooth as desired, the results however will be there!

YORGOO Blasters

When we started the YORGOO Blaster frenzy following one of the Ycademy Business Building Seminars towards the end of 2008, we had very detailed but relatively complex step-by-step setup instructions on the Support Site - and of course the friendly and professional help from Laetitia Paris, who’s in charge here. In fact, ‘newbies’ or people who didn’t want to invest the time and effort to set their blasters up themselves could get the service at a decent price and achieve the results they needed in any keyword niche of their choice. Examples and screenshots to solidify this statement are plentiful and well-known… and the show goes on, automatically that is - a good and very funny example being my forever surprising… Xmas Blaster! Christmas Online all year long!

YORGOO Blasters work… and once the recent non-stop updates of software that cause a whole avalanche of related updates come to a standstill and the feed and syndication issues some of us unfortunately experience are solved, we will continue to shoot for the stars. Yeah… always optimistic she is…

But to come back to the WordPress MU based Social Network Plaform “BuddyPress” and comparing its behavior with that of a Semiomantics tuned YORGOO Blaster Script - if that’s at all possible after just a short week and only a beta version as testing ground available so far: I did notice something that has to do with Google, which seems to index some people much faster than others… and at times I wondered whether South Africa was anywhere on their map?

However, what struck me was that BuddyPress Blogs on YORGOO Media made it to top rankings within absolutely no time! I presented screenshots earlier and you can still check the rankings under quite some spiffy keywords like “BuddyPress News” or “BuddyPress Images” and many others - a simply amazing result!

And we ain’t started yet… we are still testing and finetuning and preparing ‘materials’ for the next Ycademy Seminar on 30 and 31 May 2009. Restricted to 10 participants only this gonna rock. . . and lucky the few participants!

BuddyPress Images

I almost forgot: what’s impressive on BuddyPress as well is the speed of setting it up, loading a few pictures, scaling them right there and then, adding titles and content and zooooooom!… your new blog is on the road!

Don’t forget to invite friends, start groups and get the social networking going; some kicked off the show already: Social Drinking and “MAC” - the Media Art Club

Spontaneous Sketches

Just Beta, just Fun … let’s see where “BuddyPress” will take us. . . after a little round of music via a “Spontaneous Sketch” I drew while listening to the Teresa Carreño Youth Orchestra conducted by Gustavo Dudamel in an earlier article . . .
